Tips for the Writing Test
- Do as many practice tests as you can! It surely improves your writing skill.
- You should spend about 5 minutes studying the question and preparing for your answers.
- Try to use variety of your vacabulary. Use synonyms and different idioms. For example, if you already use the word 'increase', then change the second word to 'rise', etc.
- Do not copy any phrase from the instructions because this will not add any mark. Change them with other similar words.
- You should spend about 20 minutes on Task 1 and 40 minutes on Task 2.
- Write neatly. If you write some words wrong, you may erase them or cross them out with one line.
- Check through what you have written before submitting your works.
